Taman Bacaan Pelangi (Rainbow Reading Gardens)

Mission:

Taman Bacaan Pelangi (Rainbow Reading Gardens) is a non-profit social project to establish children’s libraries in remote areas of eastern Indonesia.

We aim to encourage and nurture children’s interest in reading by providing access to good books. We believe this is critical for a child’s education, and broadens their horizons and opportunities.

At Taman Bacaan Pelangi, we encourage children to dream big. And books will inspire, broaden their horizon and motivate them to reach their dream.

Through our programs, we also want to develop their skills. Kids will then realize their potentials and be a true star in the field. In the future, they will be able to give positive contribution to the local community, be the agent of change and source of inspiration for others. And they will be the ones who help break the cycle of poverty and change lives.

In Flores ,Taman Bacaan Pelangi has already established 20 libraries in different villages all over the Island.
