Lembu Nai Institute

 

A non-stock, non-profit, non-governmental service institution, whose aim is to enhance the people's consciousness about ecological situation in Ende – Flores – Nusa Tenggara Timur – Indonesia. 

 

Committed to the task of preserving the integrity of creation an working for justice – two inseparable dimension in the quest for total human development to provide for future generation. The ecological dimension focuses on promoting the people's inspirations for a genuine and lasting development.

Furthermore, Lembu Nai believes in the power of an organized people and recognizes the importance of establishing partnership with other ecological groups. 

 

Lembu Nai mission:

·To provide information on the importance of Nature on people's lives through various forms of education such as ecological training, seminars, production of supplementary reading materials and develop different art mediums that carries out environmental protection messages.

·To promote love of nature to children and their families through the establishment of children's learning center to the organized community.

·To document important issues about the ecology found in this fragile island of Flores and Indonesia.

·To strengthen the people's organization and implement ecologically sound projects that can help improve the socio-economic status of their members.

. To provide information about the integrity of creation and its situation on other concern groups within and outside of the country.

 

Lembu Nai Program:

  1. Social Education on Ecological Development.
  2. Supporting to organizing Integration and Linkages.
  3. Research Assistance for Integrity of Nature.
  4. Livelihood based on Ecological situation and Alternative Cooperation.
  5. Concern on Rehabilitation of Agricultural Lands and Soil Conservation.
  6. Health and Education ASSIST THE Life to Human.
